        FAQ

        How much does sea freight cost?

        The cost of international sea transportation is approximately 6000-16500 USD for a 20-foot container and 9000-19000 USD for a 40-foot container, depending on the delivery port and the related services provided.
        Unlike FCL, the cost of LCL delivery is based on a calculation per 1 m3 or 1 ton and starts from 400 USD.

        Why is sea freight considered the cheapest mode of transport?

        Container sea transportation is financially beneficial, since the cost of transporting goods by sea per 1 kg is significantly lower than the cost of air transportation. Shipping by sea is cheaper because it takes more time. If the time factor is not fundamental, then sea transportation is the best option for cargo transportation for long distances.

        How much does a container or its part cost?

        The average price to ship a 20-foot container is approximately 4000-10000 USD and 6000-12 000 USD for a 40-foot container, depending on the delivery port.
        Unlike FCL, the cost of LCL delivery is based on a calculation per 1 m3 or 1 ton and starts from 400 USD.

        What goods can be transported by sea?

        Our company provides sea transportation of the following categories of cargo:

        • general;
        • dangerous;
        • perishable;
        • oversized.
        What types of cargo cannot be transported in containers?

        Animals cannot be transported in containers, nor can different types of cargo be combined in one container, such as general and dangerous goods.

        What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

        FCL means Full Container Load and is used when a shipper bears the cost of the entire container and uses it exclusively for a single shipment, even if they do not have enough goods to fill it up.

        LCL means Less Container Load when shippers share the containers with other. The cost of an LCL shipment is calculated based on the actual volume or the space that the shipment occupies in a shared shipping container, which is usually at a minimum of 1 CBM
